Heart Disease Is Preventable

Heart disease is rarely, in my experience talked about in the doctor community. When I was a smoker and had some problems with cardiovascular disease they did tell me to quit smoking but nothing about disease of the heart as such. In all honesty they did tell me I was going to have big trouble with my feet and legs if I didn’t stop smoking and they were right. As I advanced in age and solved my own problems with peripheral artery disease, by ceasing to smoke among other things, they never said another word.

Doctors don’t really talk about disease as preventable. I never had a doctor tell me about eating correctly or exercising. Since it is they who treat the disease should they not tell us their best guess as to how to prevent it in the first place. Again I will have to admit that times are changing. More doctors are educating their patients in wellness and alternative methods of disease control and healing. It is nowhere near the educational level that I believe it should be.

Heart disease is the number one killer in both men and women. Not only that this disease starts in your twenty's. However, all the evidence points to the fact that this disease can be prevented or at the least severely reduced and delayed. All the present evidence points to a moderate amount of exercise, positive and loving thinking and most important of all nutrition will reverse or halt the problem.

What if your already 30 to 70 years of age, is their hope that heart disease can be reversed or delayed? The answer is yes. All the evidence again points to the fact that diet and exercise no matter when started can reverse cardiovascular and disease of the heart. Much of this disease starts out as peripheral vascular disease. You get the first symptoms in your legs, feet, arms and fingers. It is a simple fact that the small arteries and veins of the legs and arms tend to clog up first. At the same time your major arteries are also clogging up but the symptoms are not evident.

When it comes to heart and peripheral vascular disease, I have experience. I have managed to cure my vascular disease in my extremities that I have had since being a teenager. I did it the all natural way because prescription drugs and doctor help were not available to me at the time. They just said one thing quit smoking and live with the rest. I did eventually quit smoking which helped a great deal but I had to use chelation therapy diet changes and exercise to really reverse the disease and keep it that way.
And I have seen and read about thousands of instances were people have held off heart disease and stroke for a long, long time without drugs or surgery. I know of people whose quality of life has changed dramatically just with small natural changes of diet, exercise and some alternative types of healing. Examples being fish oil, coq10 and antioxidant formulas to name just three.

Since everybody’s physical and mental structure is different every alternative method does not work the same. However, the one thing that seems to be constant is diet, exercise and complex whole food nutritional supplements seem to work for most every one. This is what this site is all about, the ways to improve your health by reversing or holding off disease and giving you optimal health and well being.
