Eat Tomatoes 3 or 4 A Day

Tomatoes one of my favorite fruits. They can be eaten in so many ways and used a sauce on some really tasty food. When you cook them the nutrients become more powerful.

The nutrient we are talking about is the antioxidant Lycopene (a carotenoid). Eating a tomatoes or taking whole food supplements with the fruit in essence form can help you with prostate problems, eye problems and circulation problems.

And now a just published paper in Free Radical Journal has shown that a diet high in Lycopene can reduce their inflammatory markers in their sputum. The study was done with 32 people suffering from asthma.

First they feed the subjects poor diets with little or no Lycopene for ten days. The result , their asthma worsened and their markers for inflammation feel. They also saw that blood plsma levels were reduced as well.

Then they feed the subjects a rich Lycopene diet containing 45mg of Lycopene daily for seven days. In that short time inflammatory fighting white blood cell improved.

So long story short. Tomatoes are good for you. If you want to experience optimal health and well being it would be a good idea to include this fruit in your diet or in your supplements. Remember try to get supplements ass close to whole food as possible. The fruit essence is a high quality nutrition rich healthy substitute if you cannot get decent fresh fruit.
