Ubiquinol Form of COQ10 Most Absorbable Highest Quality
Ubiquinol Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is found in virtually all cells of human body, including the heart, liver, and skeletal muscles. It functions as a carrier to transfer electrons across the membrane of mitochondria (the energy generator in the body's cells) to drive the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the fuel that energizes cells in our body. Heart muscle cells have the greatest concentration of mitochondria, 5,000 per cell. CoQ10 also possesses antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing properties. The most common form of CoQ10 supplements, is ubiquinone. This form must first be reduced to ubiquinol to act as an antioxidant. As an antioxidant, CoQ10 can protect proteins, lower LDL-cholesterol (bad cholesterol), and help protect mitochondrial DNA from oxidative damage. Because of its function in the production of cellular energy, and as an antioxidant, CoQ10 can aid the body's response to a host of health problems including heart disease, cancer, aging, neuro-degenerative diseases, and muscular dystrophy.

Our product called CoQsol® is a unique formulation of CoQ10 with absorption characteristic far greater than that of dry CoQ10 powder or other forms of ubiquinone With superior absorption, CoQsol® has the ability to aid in increased cellular energy production, and benefit those who suffer from health conditions related to the heart, immune system, brain, soft tissue, and age-related degeneration.
The superior absorption of CoQsol® has been demonstrated in a clinical study. A randomized, placebo-controlled study was conducted to determine the differences in steady state absorption over a 30-day period and 5-hour peak absorption characteristics between CoQsol® and dry CoQ10 powder in a two-piece hard shell capsule. For the steady state study, Group I was given 60 mg/day CoQsol®. Group II received the same amount of CoQ10 as a dry powder in a two-piece hard shell capsule. On the last day of the steady state study, the peak absorption segment and its accompanying analysis commenced. Subjects received 30 mg of their respective forms of CoQ10. The control group (Group III) received the placebo for both legs of the study. After 30 days supplementation, the average basal blood CoQ10 levels for Group I increased by 165% (0.85 µg/ml to 2.26 µg/ml) as compared to an 80% increase (0.85 µg/ml to 1.5 µg/ml) experienced by Group II.Five hours after the administration of 30 mg CoQsol®, peak absolute CoQ10 levels of Group I increased by 0.48 µg/ml blood compared to an increase of 0.19 µg/ml for Group II, which had received 30 mg dry CoQ10 powder in a two-piece hard shell capsule. The increased absorption of CoQsol® supports a healthy cardiovascular system, acts as adjunct therapy while taking prescription medications, helps to support immune system function, and provides a positive effect on many organs. In another study researchers gave ubiquinol to children at 1-10mg per kilogram of weight. That is about 700mg in adults. Their serum levels were comparable to doses of conventional CoQ10 at 2,440- 3,00 mg per day. Ubiquinol hd increased blood levels to a higher level than any previous work on conventional CoQ10. Other studies show that 150mg of ubiquinol will provide you the same blood level of active CoQ10 as 1,200 mg of enhanced delivery conventional CoQ10. 1,200 mg of conventional coenzyme CoQ10 was the largest dose used in all of the Parkinson’s studies. One other very impressive study showed taking 300mg of ubiquinol for four weeks caused a “markedly high” serum level of 8.413umol/L. This was an eleven(11) fold increase over baseline. That is never seen when using ubiquinone. The authors stated that “solubilized ubiquinol is the best form of CoQ10 available. There are many more studies all showing these kinds of amazing results.
