Vitamin C Antioxidant
Alphabet Soup Or Real Healer

Man is the only animal on the planet that does not synthesize his own Vitamin C antioxidant and therefore must ingest enough to maintain good health. There are four enzymes which convert glucose into ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). Our bodies make the first three but the fourth cannot be made due to human gene damage. Therefore no ascorbic acid. Which means the body does not have this powerful antioxidant-anti-agingl defense. This is of course why there is so much discussion in this web site and all over the web about antioxidant nutrition supplements and foods.

Without this Vitamin C antioxidant defense it is said all air breathing life on earth would disappear within a century. Almost all of us know that Vitamin C is an antioxidant. It is well advertised. Yet a large part of our society is low in this Vitamin. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) has been shown to be the most effective water soluble antioxidant in human plasma.
We as humans are very poor absorbers of Vitamin C. Many people get little or no Vitamin C in their bodies everyday. Many of us have less than 25 micrograms a day that is synthesized. Further, Vitamin C is not stored in the human body. On top of that we do not get a lot of Vitamin C in our diets. As I have said before only 11% of the total population, according to the CDC, eats the recommended level of fruits and vegetables. This is where the best natural occurring sources of Vitamin C occur.

Vitamin C can be found in many fruits and vegetables. In vegetables the best sources are broccoli tops, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and green leafy vegetables. Herbs that are good sources of C are mustard tops, watercress, parsley, kale and chives. Fruits of course are the best known for Vitamin C. All citrus and all berries contain C as well as kiwi fruit and tomatoes. The best fruits are said to be blueberries, blackberries, acai berries goji berries and cherries. One of the very highest in C is rose hips which are found in many supplements including my Super Fruit and Berry antioxidant energy drink and our Super Food Formulas.

After saying all this there is a new technology called liposome technology which allows for much greater vitamin c absorption. Up to 390% more at half the cost. Our revolutionary new product is called Liposomal Vitamin C.

Dr. Robert Cathcart of the Linus Pauling Institute states" that ascorbic is useful in the treatment of almost all diseases. The almost universal benefit is because massive doses of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) neutralize massive amounts of free radicals and mediate all inflammations. Most acute infectious diseases can be cured if the free radicals
are eliminated."
